I just got a new gig as a comic-book-store chick, and guess where I'll be sellin' some wares this weekend… 10 points for obviousness if you guessed FanExpo's Toronto ComiCon.
Regular readers understand how often I salivate over manga, graphic novels, and comic book trade compilations—but this will mark my first foray on the other side of the table. I've been working long hours over the last two days, folding many a graphic tee and alphabetizing/boxing/lugging many a manga volume. I've got a 6 AM (!!) start time tomorrow and am guaranteed over 12 hours of steady work, yet I am positively elated at the prospect.
Will update on my progress next week, given it's book-related and all. For now, I wish you all a lovely Friday evening, and maybe I'll catch you at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre sometime this weekend!
